Nigerian media executive and international show promoter, Paul Okoye, recently penned an open letter to musicians where he commended their craft, growth and also charged them to do better. In the post which he shared via Instagram, Okoye started by declaring his love for the singers and acknowledging their giant strides to advance the African culture around the world. He also talked about how rough 2020 has been, and how it is a reminder of how temporary life is, how far they have come, and how much they still have to achieve. The music executive tagged the entertainers heroes of Afrobeat and charged them to use their superpowers to set good examples and lead the way. The entrepreneur also asked them to think about the state of their family and loved ones if anything ever went wrong. Excerpt from his post read: "Dear Sons, African Giant, Baddest OBO, and biggest Star Boy. I love you guys, You all have made monumental strides to advance African culture around the world. Your music has helped to change the face of Afrobeats and turned it into one of the most popular music genres today." Okoye's open letter came hours after video clips of Davido and Burna Boy's fight surfaced on social media. Meanwhile, reports earlier showed that Wizkid got fans talking on social media after he refused to get involved in the scuffle between Davido and Burna Boy in a nightclub in Ghana. The father of three looked oblivious of everything that was going on and took a swig of his drink as Davido's Gobe played in the background.
